To Join (PPP) or Not to Join

This blog has reached its 20th post so it means, I can register this blog to blog networks already. But because of the horrible thing that happened to My Pink Notes blog, I am having doubts whether to accept paid posts on this bog or not.

For me there are three kinds of blogger and these are:

1. A Simple Blogger : Somebody who doesn’t care if he or she earns from his or her blog.
2. A Postie : Somebody who earns 1K-2K a month from his or her blogs doing paid post from several blog network companies like PPP, Smorty, Bloggingads, etc.
3. A Problogger : these are people like Darren Rowse, John Chow, Jeremy Schoemaker, etc.

I would say that I still belong to the number 1 category because I still have some blogs that are sponsored posts free.

I would be happy to a be Postie (infact, I think I am already) but who would not like to be a Problogger? Sigh* I am dreaming.

Update for BlogLeafs Users

I am sorry for not updating this blog for a long time. I got caught up with my other blogs plus the holiday season. Anyway, since this blog is aimed to teach my friends about how to use Wordpress about how to earn money from their blogs someday, I will give them some more tips on how to go about their Wordpress blog.

Using Wordpress: Create your About Me page: To do this, follow the following;

1. Log in to your blog.
2. Go to “Manage”
3. When you click on “Manage”, you should be able to see a submenu and from this submenu click “Pages”.
4. After clicking “Pages”, click “Edit” to edit the About Page

Most of the time, readers would like to know who is behind a blog so starting writing about yourself on the “About Me” page.

Monetising your Blog: Believe me, I am earning more than 500$ a month. I know you have your jobs but in case you would like to earn extra cash then monetising your blog is a good way. But before you can monetise your blog, your blog have to meet certain requirements. Some of which are :

1. Your blog should have about 20 posts already to be able to register in blog advertising networks.
2. Your blog should be at least 3 months old. But some advertising networks accept younger blogs if the blog have sufficient number of posts and good ranks.

I have notice that most of you are not updating your blogs. That is not good. 2 posts per week is ideal. In a month, you’ll have 8 posts and in two-and-a half-month time, you’ll be able to join this blog advertising networks (Payperpost.com, SponsoredReview.com, Loudlaunch.com, etc). I also advise you to continuously visit this blog and my other blogs as well to learn more on how you can monetise your blog.

Goodluck.
