Another Blog Coming Up!

I have a lot of blogs and at this point I realized that I can’t keep them all anymore. I am too busy with other things but I still like to blog. In fact, I want to start another blog (I’m crazy I know). I will leave or give away blogs that are doesn’t have their own domain like My Take on Things, Penny Wise, Digitally Designed, and The Last Thing I Am. That’s 4 blogs off my shoulders. BlogLeafs will stay but I plan to ask somebody to co-author this blog with me.

In exchange to these four blogs, I will start one blog. At first I wanted it to be about living here in Shanghai but I realized that it is a very broad topic and there is already My Pink Notes blog and Vienna Lopez blog that cover about my life in general including my life here in Shanghai so I narrowed it down to something else. The new blog will be about Shanghainese girls’ lifestyle and fashion. Why? Because they fascinate me so!

It’s still just a plan and I don’t have a concrete date to launch it yet but it will come. I already have a good collection of Shanghainese girls’ photos waiting to be uploaded and posted (wink*). Once my schedule start to loosen up a little bit and once I picked a good domain name, I will start it.

Some LinkyLove to My Friends

I have a number of blogging friends who have their blogs hosted in free blogging sites such as Blogspot, Bravejournal, Xanga, Wordpress, Livejournal, and others. I have nothing against it really. All I want to say is that forgive me if I cannot visit you as often as I like. As you know well, all free blogging sites are blocked in China and the only way I could get to your site is by using a proxy site. It’s annoying because even if I can load your blog using a proxy site,  is not as easy compared to surfing without proxy. I can’t just blog hop from one blog to another. It is just so much of a hassle.

But I want to make it all up to you. I also want to make it all up to those who have tagged me or given me awards. Sorry if I can’t respond and forward these tags and awards at the moment. Please forgive me and let me make it up to your by giving you some linkylove.

Change the Design of Your Blog

You might have already noticed that I change the design of this blog. You may change the template of your blogs too. Just click on this link and choose the Wordpress theme which you like best. Download the theme and send the file to me through YM and I will upload it to our web host.

Here’s a little explanation about our situation and I tried to write it in a way that it’s understandable for you. If you still have questions you my IM me as you know well, I am usually online in my YM during the day so you can just buzz me with your question and I would, for sure, be glad to help.

Anyway, BlogLeafs.com is our house and I own it. I pay for the rent and everything. In this house, I gave each one of you a “room” (blog) for free. Your “room” is private not even I can enter it unless you let me know your password (for troubleshooting).You may personalize, develop, and popularize your room because you have a complete access to it but I am the only one who have the key to the main door of the house and because furniture (themes and plugins) have to use the main door before it reaches your “rooms” you have to ask me to open the main door and let the furniture in. It’s like this.

I also advice each one of you to visit this blog every now and then because you might find some helpful tips. So, alrighty… I’ll leave you in your “rooms” now. Be good girls.

My New Blog

This is my fifth blog and I bought this domain together with a web hosting plan. The web hosting package includes an unlimited bandwidth and 50 subdomains. I am sure that I cannot use all of them so I am giving away subdomains to my friends for FREE plus I have installed a Wordpress blogs for them already.
