Organizing Your Posts

For me Wordpress is that best blogging platform there is. Learning how to utilize all its functions can be really advantageous in further personalising, organizing and managing your blog. In this post, I will teach you about how to create categories. If you look at my sidebar, you’ll notice the “Category” section. If you click on a certain category, it will give you my posts about that category. Creating categories is a good way to organize your posts and here is a very easy way to do it.

1. When writing a post, you’ll notice at the upper right portion that there is a section labelled “Category”. Just type the Category (ex. My Poems, About Work, etc) on the space provided and click “Add”.

2. Whenever you write a post, just tick the box of the appropriate category and Wordpress will file your post under that category.

It is always a good practice to categorize your posts into topics.
